About the Role

We are looking for a leader who is experienced at managing people from the initial HR recruitment processes through to co-delivering services. Are you someone who is competent at following evidence-based programmes and aware of the need to keep delivery inline within set frameworks? Do you have a working background with children aged 0-19 (25 SEND) with an awareness of children’s development? Are you someone who can engage families effectively and have a track record of evidencing outcomes for those you have supported and able to model best practice?

An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required for this post.

About You

To apply for this post, you must have:

  • Qualification to level 4 in a relevant subject, for example health and social care, psychology, education, health education or considerable demonstrable experience
  • Experience working with children, young people, or families in a group or one-to-one setting with strong understanding of parenting challenges, child development, and family dynamics
  • Excellent communication and group facilitation skills, understanding of barriers families face to engage with support, ability to engage and motivate parents from diverse backgrounds, and commitment to delivering structured programmes with fidelity
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Knowledge of the importance of programme fidelity in the delivery of group work programmes and knowledge of case management systems and use of data for planning service delivery and evaluating effectiveness
  • Ability to contribute towards high quality and succinct written reports including analysis of data and recommendations for senior managers, and ability to evidence the achievement of outcomes through robust data recording on group work interventions
  • Ability to undertake practice development sessions with group work facilitators and ensure latest information and guidance from evidence-based providers is followed as appropriate
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion
