Overview
We are recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Highways Programme Coordinator to join our Highway Services team at Nottingham City Council. This role supports the delivery of highway maintenance and neighbourhood improvement schemes across Nottingham City and provides coordination and direction to colleagues, elected Members and key stakeholders.
About the Role
As the Highways Programme Coordinator, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects. You\’ll support the effective management of projects by providing clear direction, updates, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of highway maintenance and improvement schemes.
- Act as a central point of contact for project updates and stakeholder engagement.
- Review project systems and governance, identifying opportunities for service improvement.
- Ensure statutory compliance and accurate, timely project reporting.
- Lead on communication and engagement with residents, businesses, and community groups.
- Work closely with delivery teams to track progress and support effective project management.
