Working Hours: Shift-based (including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)

Salary: Starting Salary is £27,711 (Level one) rising to £30,060 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

About The Role
Nottingham City Council is seeking 2 skilled and reliable Class 2 LGV Drivers with HIAB certification (preferably) to join our Parking Enforcement team. This is a key role in supporting the free flow of traffic across the city by safely removing vehicles in contravention of parking regulations or on behalf of the DVLA.
You will be based at the Parking Enforcement Pound and deployed across Nottingham to operate a HIAB-equipped LGV vehicle. This role is essential in maintaining road safety and accessibility for all.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence and (HIAB certification preferable)
- Experience operating large vehicles and lifting equipment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers), and therefore, the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role.
- A DBS basic check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
