About the Role

Join Nottingham City Council's Achieve Well Team and help improve Health and Wellbeing education across schools in Nottingham. In this important role, you’ll inspire and empower schools to deliver high-quality, impactful PSHE that truly makes a difference to children and young people. Your work will help drive whole-school change, ensuring every learner benefits from a supportive, inclusive, and engaging PSHE curriculum. You will be a skilled educator, who thrives on supporting colleagues through training, coaching and mentoring. You’ll work with colleagues to support schools to achieve our Health and Wellbeing Awards, championing best practice, and celebrating success. If you’re passionate about creating positive change and love working collaboratively to raise standards, this role offers the chance to make a genuine and lasting impact.

About You

  • Knowledge and understanding of key guidance and good practice around Personal Social and Health Education and Relationships, Sex and Health Education
  • Experience of planning and delivering PSHE within an education setting
  • Experience of multi-agency partnership working
  • Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating online and face to face training and presentations
  • Experience of building relationships, influencing, negotiating and encouraging involvement from a range of key stakeholders
  • Experience of creating resources around health and wellbeing and PSHE
  • Experience of communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including children, parents and community members
  • Experience of using IT packages, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet targets and deadlines

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
