Overview

We’re looking for a Highway Services team member to support the delivery of new highway schemes within Nottingham.

Responsibilities

  • The role will be responsible for leading a team on undertaking highway operations on sites throughout the city.
  • To work in a team that will improve all aspects of how we operate our construction sites, including all plant, materials and operation of permanent and temporary site compounds throughout the city.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Class One or Class Two HGV License
  • Experience in road construction, maintenance, and use of tools/machinery
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CSCS card, NVQ, Street Works certification)
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and traffic management
  • Good physical fitness for manual outdoor work in all weather
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
  • Flexibility for shifts, overtime, and travel between sites
  • Ability to speak fluent English (statutory requirement)
