About the Role

The successful applicant will form an important part of our existing School Cleaning Team. As the cleaner in charge, you will be responsible for the cleaning staff on site, ensuring that they have the materials and equipment they require on a day-to-day basis to enable them to carry out their duties to a high standard. You will be required to monitor the standards throughout the school, give training and support to the cleaning staff, monitor attendance and organise any cover required in the school.

You will be responsible for monitoring and ordering stock, ensuring we have the required levels to deliver the service. Communicate with on-site staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and working closely with the FM Team Leader.

Full training will be provided to enable you to carry out your role.

Your main duties will include:

  • Ensuring high standards and Exceptional service delivery.
  • Monitoring Absence and time keeping.
  • Induction training and refresher training for cleaning staff.
  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming .
  • Cleaning of tables, unit tops and all touch points.
  • Cleaning the toilet and washroom areas.
  • Refilling consumables, soap, hand towels and toilet roll.
  • Emptying waste bins.
  • Use of vacuum cleaners, scrubbers and rotary machines.
  • High and low-level dusting.

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
