About The Role
The post holder will be part of the Migration Team supporting the Asylum Dispersal programme, refugee resettlement and the Homes for Ukraine scheme, which are all funded by the Home Office. They will undertake office administration and finance duties such as minute taking, making payments, keeping accurate records, monitoring inboxes, and answering queries from service users and partners.
The Post Holder Will Be Responsible For
- Office administration β minute taking, monitoring inboxes, arranging meetings, room bookings, diary management etc.
- Finance β including liaising and making payments to suppliers, supporting with reconciliation etc.
- Ensuring accurate and consistent record-keeping
- Answering queries from service users, suppliers and partners β by phone, MS Teams and on email

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Written skills β ability to write reports, minutes and correspondence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with data entry and accurate record-keeping
About You
- Ability to undertake office, administration duties including minute taking, with good knowledge and application of office workflow practices and systems
- Understanding of financial regulations, processes, and systems
- Broad experience of communicating effectively with people at various levels (internally and externally) via telephone, face to face and in writing, including progress chasing and problem resolution where required
A DBS basic check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
