We are looking for talented forward-thinking individuals to help us further develop and strengthen our Network Services Team.

About the Role

The role requires an experienced IT Infrastructure technician to assist in meeting the capacity demands of the IT Service, help deliver an infrastructure to support the council's digital programme. Ensuring the council operates a reliable and resilient IT infrastructure to support the organisation and its objectives is key, therefore we are looking for individuals with plenty of drive & energy to deliver technical innovation & cultural change. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

About You

  • Possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level qualification, or have achieved SFIA level 2 proficiency.
  • Have experience in supporting, installing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions and experience of working on technical projects.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in working in telephony and unified communications technology space.
  • Have experience in working in a technical support environment working to identify and resolve incidents and problems to meet agreed service levels.
  • Have knowledge in writing documentation including statement of requirements, mini business cases and invitations to tender.
  • Be able to communicate complex issues to varied audiences in a concise manner.
  • Be able to work and remain calm under pressure, whilst delivering high performance outputs.
