Role Requirements
- Accessing the community
- Vulnerability and road safety while out
- Taking part in recreational activities
- Personal care support will be required whilst out
- Independent living tasks such as ironing and laundry
- Shopping
8 hours per week - To be used on Tuesdays and weekends, to be discussed at interview.
A female Personal Assistant is required, due to the personal care support needed. The client has a learning disability and has limited verbal communication - Uses single words. They enjoy going for walks, playing badminton, tennis, going shopping, café & restaurants.
A driving licence and access to a car would be beneficial, but not essential. This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and friendly, and respectful of others’ privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs. Genuine applicants only please.
