About the Role:
- Frontline grounds maintenance and public realm, helping to keep Nottingham’s parks, estates, verges, and public spaces clean, safe, and green.
- You’ll work as part of a mobile crew, driving daily and using a range of horticultural equipment.
- Grass cutting (ride-on/pedestrian), shrub/hedge work, weed and hard-surface maintenance, planting/seasonal tasks; operate and maintain tools/machinery safely; complete vehicle checks; follow H&S and environmental procedures; provide a professional, customer-focused service.
- Working closely with the Park Development team to improve greenspaces, increase the Green Flag status and biodiversity across the city.
About You:
- Experience in horticulture/grounds maintenance and qualification - including fine turf/lawn maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Work outdoors in all weather; good safe working practices; reliable and team focused.
- Desirable - PA1/PA6 (or willingness to work towards); experience with ride-on mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters; local authority/public realm experience.
