About the Role
To undertake all administrative tasks and support functions for children without a school place, fair access panels and school exclusions and to establish, maintain and develop monitoring data on admission, exclusion and transfer trends.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
· Good IT skills, be able to work independently on their own initiative, as well as part of a small team,
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and be able to communicate effectively to a wide audience.
· Knowledge of Local Authority’s statutory responsibilities relating to Fair Access and Exclusions, including the relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.
· Knowledge of the issues and demands faced by families and schools on the admission of hard to place pupils.
