About the Role
As a Bereavement Services Operative, you will undertake a range of cemetery duties including grave digging, grounds maintenance and memorial safety. You will interact with the public, funeral directors and stakeholders to support statutory duties and uphold high standards of service delivery.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in operations and grounds maintenance.
- Sensitivity to the needs of bereaved families and cultural diversity.
- Ability to work flexibly across sites and operate council vehicles and machinery.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
