Role: Assistive Technology Community Care Officer
Contract Type: Fixed term contract/internal secondment opportunity for a period of 24 months
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Grade F - Starting Salary is £32,597 (Level one) rising to £35,412 (Level four) per annum

About the Role:
- Support the Assistive Technology Development Manager to provide a customer focused service.
- Responsible for the analysis of data on citizen activities and behaviours to determine patterns of behaviour and areas of concern.
- Act as the liaison with social care professionals to support their assessment decisions based on the citizen data.
- Install and de-install pro-active care solution equipment.
About You:
- Experience working with adults in a social care/health/voluntary sector setting.
- Experience of working with adults experiencing a range of difficulties relating to learning disability, mental health, substance misuse and physical health problems.
- The ability to undertake adult–focused assistive technology assessments in relation to the needs of adults and their carers within a person-centred approach.
- Ability to maintain clear and accurate records and to provide effective evidence regarding decision making.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a caseload and to work autonomously.
This role requires a full UK driving licence and an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check. Please ensure you demonstrate clearly how you meet the 5 requirements in your CV & supporting document.
