About the Role
Leicestershire County Council have an exciting opportunity for a 12-month fixed term role based within the Adults and Cultural Services Lead Practitioners team.
You will work under guidance and supervision in the Lead Practitioner Team to establish, maintain, and regularly review the core elements of assurance and performance frameworks, including the department’s operating models and governance procedures. This ensures that all strategic planning and operational requirements are effectively implemented and embedded across the department.
You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant specialist, technical, legislative, and regulatory requirements within defined areas of responsibility, including quality assurance and stakeholder engagement, to ensure compliance and best practice are consistently applied
About You
This role will suit an individual passionate about showing how our services make a difference and who has experience in supporting service improvement and able to demonstrate that our services are helping to improve outcomes for residents by establishing and applying the delivery of quality standards within adult social care.
To apply for this post, you must have:
- Educated to degree (or equivalent experience) level in a relevant subject
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and project or change management experience.
- A good understanding of performance management, continuous improvement, quality assurance and service improvement tools
- The ability to analyse and interpret quantitative or qualitative data and presenting findings to a wide range of audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence
- Excellent communication skills to present information both written and verbal to a range of audiences.
- Have a good understanding of methodologies and techniques to collect and analyse qualitative data
