Salary: £63,027 – £69,342 per annum (pro rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed term for 9 months

About the Role

You will support the Programme and Programme Board in devising, planning and managing the development of a business case on future Discharge to Assess bedded requirements across the Leicester and Leicestershire landscape. As part of the business case development, ensure the requirements are properly scoped, established and managed, adopting appropriate programme management methodology and governance arrangements. You will need to prepare full financial and staffing modelling to support any proposed options whilst effectively refreshing demand and capacity modelling.

About You

To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:

  • Qualification in programme management, project management, change management or specialist areas relevant to the programme being delivered and be Educated to degree level or equivalent management experience or appropriate professional qualification
  • Successful management of significant and demanding programmes or projects including experience of coordinating varied workstreams, or equivalent whilst Working successfully in an environment requiring extensive liaison and engagement of others.
  • Successfully influencing partners to deliver within the framework of an overall programme with evidence of Developing and implementing efficiency strategies, programmes or projects
  • Working with local authority senior managers, members or in a political environment and be Financially literate.
  • Formal project/programme management techniques along with Business analysis techniques, including the preparation of business cases identifying the costs, benefits, and resource requirements associated with a project.
  • Theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge of health and social care legislation, policy and best practice
