About the Role
- To administer the provisions of the Local Government Pension Scheme
- To facilitate the calculation and payment of benefits to contributors
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- Have experience of work involving the Local Government Pension Scheme, another pension scheme or general finance
- Have experience of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Powerpoint (or equivalent packages)
- Have NVQ2 or equivalent, such as 4 GCSEs, including Maths and English (Grades A to C / 4-9)
- Have the ability to compose correspondence which is clear, concise and grammatically correct
- A sound knowledge of general office procedures and their importance to the overall function of the team/section
- A knowledge of the basic principles of customer care
- A knowledge of the importance of confidentiality and sensitive information
