About the Role

We are looking for a highly dedicated Business Support Assistant. The primary focus of the role is to provide admin support to our staff in the Public Health, Communities, Law & Governance Department. This is a busy role with lots of variety. The ideal candidate will be great at multi-tasking, able to prioritise their workload and enjoy working with people in a fast-paced environment. The post holder will have a flexible approach to support the business needs of the Department. Key tasks will include:

  • Support to staff
  • Diary management
  • Assisting with the organising of meetings and taking minutes
  • Organising internal and external room bookings
  • General administration activities

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Have previous administrative experience at a similar level
  • Use ICT applications relevant to the post, i.e., Outlook, TEAMS, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Possess literacy/numeracy skills appropriate to the job
  • Exhibit good verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate good organisation skills and ability to prioritise work
  • Be able to operate effectively as a member of a team and with minimum supervision
  • Have the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work
