We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable cook / barista to join our team at Tithe Barn. In this varied and rewarding role, you will prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, assist with food preparation, maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, and ensure exceptional customer service at all times. You will also support stock control, cash handling, menu planning, and the day-to-day operation of the catering service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience. Previous barista, catering, or hospitality experience would be advantageous but is not essential as training can be provided. This role requires flexibility, with shifts worked on a rota basis covering 5 out of 7, including weekends, Bank Holidays, and occasional work outside normal operating hours. You may also be required to provide support across other LTS Catering operations when needed. About You

  • Have knowledge of stock ordering & stock control
  • Experience of food preparation
  • Good communication skills
  • Ideally have Basic Food hygiene certificate
  • Respond positively under pressure
  • Be customer focused with a desire to provide high quality food service
  • Knowledge of menu planning
