About the Role
We will look to you to effectively manage the recovery of unpaid rent and maximise revenue and fund essential services withing Nottingham City Councils Housing Services. You will be responsible for the management of the Income Team, including the setting and monitoring of team and individual targets and will lead service delivery; developing robust procedures and performance standards for the service, ensuring customers receive an effective range of appropriate support and assistance in paying their rent, including benefit and debt advice.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Previous management experience gained in a fast moving, pressurised housing management or customer facing environment dealing with complex issues and competing priorities.
2. The ability to lead and motivate a team enabling high quality performance
3. Positive, professional attitude to getting things done
4. Proven experience, knowledge and understanding of legal framework (acts and statutes) relating to housing services and people management
5. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal & presentation skills
6. Be able to make clear decisions on complex issues in a timely manner
