Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:50pm, however the postholder may be required to attend meetings/events outside of those hours.
Worker Type: Hybrid - a mixture of office and home working is to be expected.
Salary: Grade I - £46,142 - £49,282 per annum

About the Role
The successful postholder will play a key role in the development and delivery of the City's housing strategy. You will work with colleagues from across the Council and with external partners and agencies across all tenures to formulate and deliver a range of interventions to help the City to achieve its vision of 'homes fit for the future'. This is a challenging and exciting time to work in housing in Nottingham. The postholder will be in the thick of the Council's strategic approach to housing. The role includes strategy and policy development, research and analysis on a wide range of topics where housing makes a vital contribution to residents' wellbeing and quality of life.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of current housing issues and policies at a level to enable the development of policy responses
- The ability to make maximum use of housing analysis tools and data sources in order to assess market trends
- Experience of performance management, able to set goals and targets and take appropriate mitigating action when necessary
- Experience of working with a range of stakeholders and partners to deliver housing related projects
- The ability to lead project teams and commission work packages/studies/briefs
- The ability to manage, develop and motivate people in order to help achieve the authority's objectives and maximise their contribution
