About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support the delivery of a wide range of drainage tasks, including jetting, cleaning, and assisting with underground burst repairs. You will work closely with trade colleagues to provide an effective and efficient service to clients and tenants, ensuring high standards of safety and professionalism.
The successful candidate will be confident operating mechanical cleaning equipment, driving jetting machines and mini diggers, and working both independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of health and safety practices, relevant materials, and site procedures is essential. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service delivery.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in carrying out drainage clearance/repairs.
- Use of mechanical cleaning machines.
- Physically capable of very frequently lifting and carrying heavy and awkward loads, often up stairs/ladders or over some distances.
- To hold a full current driving licence.
- Practical application of Health and Safety Legislation in the construction industry, particularly Health and Safety at work and the COSHH Regulations.
- Able to work as a member of a team or on own initiative.
