In this role, you'll help drive the commercial delivery of our mortgage strategy through pricing optimisation and range maintenance, ensuring our products remain competitive and aligned to customer and business needs.

Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Product Pricing Manager at Nottingham Building Society:

  • Manage mortgage pricing and product range activity to optimise risk-adjusted returns, support balance sheet growth, and deliver great customer outcomes, helping more people achieve home ownership.
  • Use analysis, testing, and market insights to improve trading performance and enhance customer propositions, including launching new products and assessing price elasticity.
  • Apply a strong understanding of profitability, risk-adjusted returns, and commercial drivers to support both day-to-day trading and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and enhance financial models, including pricing, retention, and customer behaviour models, to drive commercial and customer value.
  • Lead internal and external communications on pricing decisions, product changes, and trading performance across colleagues, brokers, and sourcing systems.
  • Implement controls and automation to ensure pricing processes are robust, efficient, and scalable.
  • Partner with Product Performance Managers to maintain a competitive product range that meets customer needs and delivers sustainable returns.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities, translating business strategy into meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
  • Contribute to proposition development, providing pricing expertise to shape compelling customer and broker offerings.

About you:

  • Proven experience in mortgage pricing, product management, or a similar commercial role within a regulated financial services environment, with a strong understanding of trading performance, profitability, risk-adjusted returns, and financial risk management.
  • Highly analytical with excellent numerical skills and advanced Excel capability. Experience using tools such as Power BI, SAS, or similar to interrogate data, generate insights, build robust models, and support informed decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of the UK mortgage market (or wider retail financial services sector), regulatory landscape, and customer needs, with a track record of improving commercial performance through product, pricing, or retention strategies.
  • An organised and detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, develop efficient processes across stakeholder groups, and deliver accurate results to tight deadlines.
  • A clear and confident communicator, able to present complex information in a simple and compelling way to a range of internal and external audiences.
