Our Reward Analyst role sits at the heart of our People & Development team, where numbers meet strategy and insights turn into impact. You'll shape and deliver reward and HR analysis that drives smart reward decisions, confident budgeting, and rock-solid payroll governance and compliance. From diving into market trends to unpacking internal and external data, you'll help design and deliver compensation and benefits strategies that attract great people, keep them engaged, and reward them fairly.

This is a role for someone who enjoys digging into data, asking the right questions, and collaborating with HR and senior leaders to make sure our reward frameworks are competitive, equitable, and fit for the future. Here's a taste of what you will be doing as a Reward Analyst at Nottingham Building Society:

  • Support the Senior Reward & Insights Manager with analysis and committee-ready papers for P&D leadership.
  • Help keep our reward and benefits competitive, compliant, and aligned with legislation.
  • Support the annual P&D budgeting cycle.
  • Deliver reward analytics and modelling for salary reviews, bonus schemes, and total reward design.
  • Maintain grading data, support job evaluation, and manage salary benchmarking.
  • Assist with third-party providers (e.g. pensions) and benefit administration.
  • Support the delivery and continuous improvement of employee benefits and related communications.
  • Provide data, audits, and reconciliations across benefit programmes.
  • Offer cover and support for internal payroll processing when required.

About you:

  • Strong knowledge of reward principles, including pensions, medical and cash plans, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Experience with reward suppliers and benefit schemes.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of reward and incentive best practice.
  • Confident with job evaluation, grading/banding, and incentive design.
  • Highly analytical, with advanced Excel skills.
  • A clear, confident communicator who works well with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson Global Grading (desirable).
  • Good understanding of how reward supports business strategy.
