You will collaborate with Product teams, Frontend Engineers and technical leaders to design and deliver APIs and services that meet high standards and regulatory expectations. From technical design to implementation and operational support, you will play a key role in ensuring quality and performance.

Here's a taste of what you will be doing as a Backend Engineer (C# Node Python) at Nottingham Building Society:

  • Build and Maintain Services – Design, develop and support backend services using Node.js, Python and C#.
  • Create Robust APIs – Deliver well-structured APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
  • Write Quality Code – Produce clean, testable and maintainable code that meets agreed engineering standards.
