Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Mortgage Adviser at Nottingham Building Society: –

  • Strive to achieve both sales and service goals, ensuring excellent customer outcomes are at the heart of everything you do.
  • Maintain your professional competency within the prescribed Training & Competency (T&C) framework, supporting your continuous development.
  • Actively and reactively promote loyalty offers to existing customers, working towards agreed retention targets with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
  • Deliver an exceptional, fully advised mortgage service to existing customers, covering re-mortgages, porting, further advances, and post-contract variations.
  • Assess variations, applications, and affordability in line with Lending Policy criteria, ensuring all decisions align with prescribed policies.
  • Take ownership of your performance by maintaining accurate sales logs and development plans, showcasing your commitment to growth and success.
  • Ensure all customer accounts are accurately updated and documented, protecting data integrity and maintaining consistency across core systems while producing relevant management information.
  • Collaborate flexibly with other teams in Mortgage Operations, contributing to shared business objectives and fostering a supportive team environment.

About you: –

  • CeMap 1,2 and 3 or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of sales and customer service.
  • An excellent communicator able to demonstrate a high standard of telephony skills and the necessary skills required to overcome challenges of a non F2F environment.
  • Curious, highly self-motivated and proactive in approach.
  • Exceptional team working skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
