This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to support the development, promotion and delivery of a suite of Executive Education programmes (Exec Ed). Participants that enrol onto these programmes will range from aspiring managers to senior executives from national and international organisations. Working with academic and professional services across the university, you will act as the first point of contact and be responsible for the coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of a range of operational processes and activities which underpin the Exec Ed programmes to ensure participants are appropriately supported throughout their journey.

The role is varied, managing programmes, providing administrative support for a range of Exec Ed activities and processes. You will work with limited direct supervision and therefore be required to use your initiative, take personal responsibility, think analytically and creatively solve problems using interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships and work across different faculties to deliver innovative, high quality and compliant services and support.

Your duties will include management support as well as general administrative support for programmes and processes including the monitoring and resolution of participants' engagement with their journey, maintaining key information for participants e.g., Moodle sites and MS Teams. You will also support local activities which focus on engaging with potential participants, attending events, organising webinars and workshops including assisting with the coordination and delivery, assisting with arrangements for Exec Ed events such as welcome and induction, and communication activities. You will work closely with the wider academic colleagues.

What we offer:

  • A friendly, diverse, and supportive working environment
  • A hybrid working arrangement with the blended approach of home and office working each week
  • Generous holiday entitlement of 27 days (pro rata) plus standard bank holidays and five university closure days including closure between Christmas and New Year.
  • We are committed to staff development through the provision of training, continued support, and career progression opportunities
  • You will have access to a range of benefits and rewards, including fitness and health facilities, staff discounts, travel schemes and many more.

This is a full-time (36.25 hours per week), fixed-term position available from 1 October 2026 up to 30 September 2027. Applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
