Are you passionate about enabling discovery in library systems and repositories? Are you looking for a role that requires accuracy and attention to detail, supporting our diverse academic community? We are looking for a new colleague to join our Discovery and Access Team at University Park and King’s Meadow Campuses. It is part of the Content & Discovery Section of University of Nottingham Libraries.

As one of five Senior Library Advisers, you will take day-to-day responsibility for cataloguing and classifying new resources across our library network and support researchers to deposit their journal articles, conference proceedings, books and book chapters in our repository, including advising them on publisher requirements, copyright and the university’s Open Access Publications Policy. You will undertake procedures for the electronic management of PhD theses. The team’s work is organised on a rota basis. At times, you will need to work independently and work with colleagues across other areas of University of Nottingham Libraries.

This is a full-time permanent position with predicted start date 1st Nov 2026. Hours of work are 36.25 per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4 pm.
