As a Repairs Officer, you'll be a key part of our Repairs directorate, making sure day‑to‑day repairs are coordinated effectively and completed to a high standard. Notting Hill Genesis, one of London's largest housing associations, is seeking dynamic Repairs Officers to join our dedicated Repairs Hub. In this crucial role, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to provide "best in class" repair and maintenance services, directly improving the living conditions of our residents. Notting Hill Genesis is a not‑for‑profit organisation providing affordable homes for Londoners and it is now one of the largest housing associations in London. We are both a landlord and a developer, with more than 65,000 existing homes and 10,000 more in our pipeline, and we employ around 1,800 employees.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure contractors and inspectors provide a consistently high‑quality service that meets the six customer priorities in the customer strategy.
- Act as a trusted and reliable NHG presence, ensuring all visits and inspections are completed on time.
- Deliver well‑cared‑for homes and places where residents feel safe and proud through top‑class contract management.
- Provide a responsive service; action staff and resident queries and complaints thoroughly, timely, and learn from feedback.
- Recommend, oversee, and develop a best‑in‑class repair delivery service that meets targets and drives continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure service standards and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Highly organised with proven ability to manage conflicting priorities in a busy office environment.
- Experience providing performance monitoring and commentary against business targets.
- Good understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
