The Digital Change & Adoption Partner plays a critical role within this ambition. This is a specialist partnering role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of people, technology and change – helping colleagues confidently adopt new digital tools and ways of working so transformation delivers real, lasting impact.
As the Digital Change & Adoption Partner, reporting to the Learning Partnering & Delivery Manager, you will act as NHG's adoption specialist for digital and transformation activity. You'll work closely with Transformation teams, Change Managers, Business Analysts, PMO colleagues and HR Business Partners to ensure new systems and processes are not just implemented but truly embedded. This role is not focused on delivering training at scale or producing learning content; instead it centres on partnering, influence and insight‑owning adoption outcomes rather than learning outputs.
Responsibilities
- Work with transformation and change colleagues to focus on behaviour, confidence and readiness – not just go-live.
- Identify adoption risks early and shape mitigation activity to support successful embedding.
- Support leaders to understand and own their role in driving adoption and behaviour change.
- Enable colleagues to confidently adopt new tools, systems and ways of working.
- Help NHG realise the benefits of digital investment through improved consistency, reduced re‑work and better colleague experience.
- Show impact through confident adoption of digital change, smoother transitions, and sustained improvements in how work is done across the organisation.
How you'll do it
- Partner with Transformation, Change, PMO and HRBPs to understand upcoming digital and process change and assess adoption risk.
- Shape business‑readiness and adoption activity so change is well sequenced, inclusive and sustainable.
- Provide insight, challenge and assurance on confidence, readiness and behavioural impact.
- Define the capability required for successful adoption of digital tools, including emerging technologies such as AI and Copilot.
- Brief and shape learning and support activity with Learning Design and Systems colleagues where training is needed to enable adoption.
- On occasion, deliver targeted adoption‑focused interventions where direct involvement supports behaviour change.
- Use insight, feedback and usage patterns to track adoption, identify issues early and support continuous improvement.
You will work closely with colleagues across People Development, Digital and Transformation to ensure adoption activity is focused, people‑centred and outcome‑driven.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting colleagues through digital, system or process change, with a strong emphasis on adoption and behaviour change.
- Experience working in partnership with change, transformation and HR teams.
- Ability to identify adoption risks, confidence gaps and behavioural barriers and influence appropriate responses.
- Experience shaping learning or support approaches alongside learning design or systems teams.
- Understanding of how digital change impacts colleague experience and day‑to‑day work.
- Strong stakeholder‑management skills with the confidence to constructively challenge and influence leaders.
- A pragmatic, people‑centred approach and commitment to inclusive, responsible digital adoption.
- Relevant experience in change, learning, organisational development, digital adoption or a related field (professional qualification desirable but not essential).
Our offer and culture
You will play a key role in shaping how digital change lands across NHG, working at pace with senior stakeholders and transformation teams to ensure new ways of working stick and genuinely improve colleague and resident experience.
Benefits
- Excellent annual leave and flexible working options (qualifying period may apply).
- Generous pension scheme.
- Enhanced family leave (qualifying period may apply).
- Employee Assistance Programme.
- Health cash plan.
- Retail, leisure and lifestyle discounts.
- Interest‑free loans.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Life assurance – 4× annual salary.
