Working within the Homes directorate, youll lead the development and delivery of strategies that support net zero, improve energy efficiency, and enhance the long-term performance of our homes. br /span span br /span span The Sustainability Lead role focuses on embedding sustainability into investment decisions, operational delivery, and resident engagement. Youll shape programmes that support retrofit, carbon reduction, and improved environmental outcomes for residents. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification. br /span /p /div div h2 Essential /h2 ul li Degree or equivalent in sustainability, energy, environmental science, construction or related field /li li Experience in sustainability, carbon reduction, asset management or construction, preferably within housing /li li Experience developing and delivering sustainability plans and carbon reduction programmes /li li Strong understanding of sustainability, low-carbon technologies, and relevant regulatory frameworks /li li Understanding of funding mechanisms, investment decision-making and retrofit business models /li li Relevant professional qualification / membership or ability to demonstrate equivalent professional standard and commitment to continuing professional development /li li Excellent communication skills, including reporting and presentations /li li Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and build effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders /li /ul /div div h2 /h2 p span Once you join us, youll find plenty of opportunities to grow within our organisation.
