As a Project Manager - Building Safety, you'll lead the delivery of fire safety and building safety remediation projects across our residential buildings, ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and futureproofed. Working within our Building Safety team, you'll manage projects from initial due diligence and risk assessment through to delivery, ensuring high standards of quality, cost control, and resident experience.
The Project Manager role involves understanding building construction, assessing risk, and coordinating consultants and contractors to deliver remediation works. You'll play a key role in protecting residents, supporting compliance with evolving building safety regulations, and ensuring effective communication throughout each stage of delivery.
How you'll do it:
- Project manage fire safety remediation projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery against time, cost, and quality targets.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and financial forecasts, including capital and cash flow planning.
- Identify and manage risks through the development of project risk registers and proactive mitigation strategies.
- Monitor contractor performance and project progress against KPIs, taking corrective action where required.
- Build strong relationships with residents and stakeholders, developing communication and consultation plans to support engagement.
- Work closely with procurement and internal teams to appoint consultants and contractors and ensure effective project delivery.

- Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, including risk analysis and delivery management.
- Experience managing projects within construction, housing, or building safety environments.
- Experience using financial appraisal or project management systems (e.g. Pamwin).

- Experience working on fire safety or building safety remediation projects.
