As a not-for-profit housing organisation providing more affordable homes for Londoners, we're looking for building managers to join us as part of a refresh of our operations team to ensure we're set up in the best way to deliver the things that matter most to our residents.
How you'll do it:
- Collaborate closely with housing officer colleagues for specific locations to provide excellent customer service and be accountable to residents.
- Ensure buildings are safe, well-maintained, and service charges are fair and transparent.
- Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate a good knowledge of buildings and service charges.
- Implement strategies to enhance the safety and aesthetic appeal of communal areas.
- Play a key role in resolving disputes or complaints related to communal spaces and estates.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proactive and customer-focused, with good spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively to multiple audiences.
- Experience in a Customer Service environment.
- Willingness to learn property management if you have no prior experience.
- A solid understanding of buildings, service charges, and communal area management.
