The Supported Housing Assistant assists the Supported Housing Officers to deliver housing management, and being actively involved in organising activities for our vulnerable residents. We know that having a safe, secure home is fundamental to everyone’s wellbeing.Your role will often include working in partnership with other agencies and advocating for residents, as well as setting clear expectations with residents, so they consistently have the information and assistance to sustain their tenancies.
How you’ll do it
You will provide an excellent response to vulnerable residents, working from the scheme itself.Helping with day to day issues on the site and use your passion and enthusiasm to facilitate a connected community where people want to live.
You will be personally committed to delivering the highest quality housing management services.You will assist the SHO with ensuring that our homes are well-managed, with minimised voids, maximised income, and above all offer positive environments for our residents. This is a challenging and rewarding role.
You will provide an excellent response to vulnerable residents, working from the scheme itself.You will conduct wellbeing visits, ensure new residents settle in, helping with day to day issues on the site and use your passion and enthusiasm to facilitate a connected community where people want to live .
You will play a key part of our team of frontline staff, assisting Supported Housing Officers to deliver safe, caring and high quality services to our residents .
The ideal candidate

Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence .If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
You will be adept at-risk management, have good judgement, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for excellent customer service.
- Experience providing a customer focused service, providing support to customers with similar needs to those within the post’s remit, in a social care or social housing environment .
- Good working knowledge of the service’s customer group
- Experience working alongside multiple teams/agencies
