As a Project Officer – Remediation, you’ll support the delivery of building safety remediation projects across our residential buildings, helping to ensure homes are safe, compliant, and fit for the future. Working closely with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, you’ll deliver smaller projects independently while supporting more complex programmes of work.
The Project Officer – Remediation role focuses on effective project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining high standards of delivery. You’ll play a key part in supporting resident safety, managing risks, and helping to deliver works with minimal disruption. As a Project Officer – Remediation, you’ll contribute to improving customer confidence and ensuring a positive experience throughout project delivery.
How you’ll do it:
- Deliver non‐complex remediation projects, managing project finances, risks, quality, and stakeholder engagement with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Support Project Managers in the delivery of complex building safety projects, including coordination of project activities and budgeting support.
- Assist in monitoring project performance, including KPIs, reporting, and recommending corrective actions where required.
- Support the identification, management, and escalation of risks and issues, ensuring appropriate follow‐up and resolution.
- Prepare key project documentation, including financial appraisals, progress reports, cost reports, and funding applications.
- Assist with procurement and management of consultants and contractors, maintaining strong customer service and compliance with health and safety standards.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience working in a customer‐focused role, ideally within a housing or resident‐facing environment.
- Understanding of building safety regulations and their application in a housing context.
- Strong communication skills, including experience presenting to stakeholders or customers.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting project delivery in construction, housing, or building safety.
- Familiarity with project reporting, financial tracking, or contract management processes.
