  • Drive operational performance across infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, workplace technology and end-user services.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise resilience and disaster recovery capabilities, ensuring plans are tested, effective and continuously improved.
  • Establish clear operational risk tolerances and escalation frameworks, ensuring risks are surfaced and addressed appropriately.
  • Deliver executive-level assurance through operational reporting, service insights and trend analysis.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce service failures, remove workarounds and improve productivity.
  • Ensure staff and resident experiences influence operational priorities and service enhancements.
  • Drive supplier performance and value for money, ensuring third parties deliver against agreed outcomes and service levels.
  • Balance performance, resilience, regulatory requirements and financial considerations when making strategic operational decisions.
  • Foster a high-performing culture that promotes accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.

The ideal candidate

  • Significant senior leadership experience with organisation-wide accountability for Digital and IT Operations within a large, complex and regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale service operations, service recovery and operational resilience.

  • Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams through multiple layers of management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing strategic suppliers and outsourced service providers.
  • Demonstrable experience balancing operational performance, cost, risk and customer outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Executive and Board level.
  • Advanced digital and technology literacy across infrastructure, platforms, workplace technology and service delivery.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, particularly in complex and high-pressure environments.
  • A recognised senior leadership qualification, management qualification or equivalent senior-level leadership experience.
  • Professional qualification or significant experience in service management, operational risk, resilience, assurance or related disciplines.

What’s in it for you?
