Job Introduction
As a Landscape Services Officer at Notting Hill Genesis, you will work closely with our contractors to help shape the quality and consistency of our outdoor spaces. You will make sure the day-to-day landscape services are delivered in line with the contractual timeframes. Focusing on the better places arm of our NHG making London home strategy you will drive the aesthetics on our estates. This will see you working across both elements of horticulture and arboriculture.
What you’ll do
- Monitor and manage contractor performance across NHG’s landscape services portfolio.
- Lead on enhancement schemes and support the delivery of annual improvement works.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules for green/brown roofs and tree management programmes.
- Support re-tendering of contracts and ensure services represent good value for money.
- Advise internal and external stakeholders, attend resident meetings, and represent NHG professionally.
- Collaborate with development and asset teams to protect landscaped areas and promote biodiversity.
- Ensure contractors meet accreditation standards and quality control requirements.
- Keep up to date with health and safety, financial regulations, and best practice in landscape management.
The ideal candidate

If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification. Training will be provided to support embedding knowledge picked up through experience though a qualification would be greatly received.
Essential:
- City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in horticulture, or significant horticultural/parks management experience.
- Experience in landscape management, including contractor oversight and delivery of improvement works.
- Experience in contractor management.
- A drive to deliver excellent services for residents.
Desirable:
- A good knowledge through qualifications or experience of arboriculture.
- A passion for being outdoors with a good knowledge of plants, trees and landscape management.
