You will take ownership of data reconciliation, cleansing, validation, and control processes, helping to strengthen our financial systems environment and enabling timely and accurate financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, a passion for data quality, and an interest in finance systems and process improvement.

As part of our Finance team, you will help drive a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus, ensuring we deliver excellent outcomes for our residents and colleagues.

How you’ll do it

  • Cleanse, validate, and reconcile large volumes of financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead the reconciliation of daily integration files and perform monthly reconciliations to support month-end reporting processes.
  • Work closely with third-party system support providers to resolve integration issues quickly and minimise disruption.
  • Introduce and maintain robust controls across finance system integrations to improve data quality and reduce risk.
  • Support the Finance Systems team in identifying and resolving issues at source, promoting automation and process efficiencies wherever possible.
  • Carry out monthly control account reconciliations and support wider finance reconciliation activities.
  • Assist with supplier account reconciliations and data cleansing exercises.
  • Perform regular integrity checks on mapping tables and financial data flows to ensure alignment between source and target systems.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, maintaining accurate mapping logic to support reliable financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with NHG policies, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of finance systems and processes.
