Unlike traditional multi-year programs, NHAM offers intensive courses led by industry professionals that prepare students to launch their careers within 12 months. The Recruitment Coordinator supports the recruitment, marketing and admissions process for prospective students, ensuring a smooth and efficient applicant journey from initial inquiry through to enrolment. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining accurate applicant records, and supporting institutional enrolment targets. This role is primarily based across NHAM’s teaching sites to support delivery activities during term time and to maintain a visible on-site presence. However, the role also offers flexibility, with opportunities for remote working on agreed days when appropriate and operationally feasible.
Key Responsibilities- Admissions Operations
- Process applications in line with institutional policies and deadlines
- Review application documents for completeness and accuracy
- Liaise with academic departments regarding admissions decisions where required
- Issue offers, rejection letters, and related communications to applicants
- Maintain accurate records across application and enrolment stages
- Applicant Support & Communication
- Act as a primary point of contact for prospective students via email, phone, and in person
- Provide clear information on entry requirements, application procedures, and deadlines
- Support applicants throughout the admissions cycle, including offer acceptance and enrolment
- Recruitment Support
- Assist with recruitment events such as open days and outreach activities
- Coordinate logistics for admissions-related events and communications
- Support marketing campaigns by providing admissions insights and data where needed
- Data Management & Reporting
- Track application numbers, conversion rates, and enrolment statistics
- Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and institutional policies
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline admissions processes
- Contribute to the development of admissions policies and procedures
- Support system updates or new technology implementations related to admissions
- Marketing & Events
- Support lead generation initiatives by monitoring social media trends, platform algorithms, and content performance insights, while coordinating findings and recommendations with the marketing team
- Assist in the creation and design of promotional materials, including posters and digital assets for open days, events, and student activities
- Manage and update Linktree and other digital landing pages to ensure accurate, engaging, and up to date open day information
- Be confident and comfortable appearing on camera for social media content, promotional videos, and event coverage
- Support the planning, coordination, and on site execution of events
- Assist in organising and participating in student representative meetings and related engagement activities
- Coordinate with external partners, sponsors, and brands to support collaborations, activations, and event partnerships
- Work closely with the wider marketing and student engagement teams to support brand awareness and audience growth initiatives
- Student Support & Engagement (Additional Responsibilities)
- Monitor and manage attendance tracking for current students, identifying patterns of concern and escalating where appropriate
- Provide or coordinate support for students with attendance issues, working collaboratively with academic and student support teams
- Lead the organisation and coordination of work experience opportunities for current students, including liaising with employers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain records of student participation in work experience and evaluate outcomes to support continuous improvement
- Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in an administrative or customer-facing role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
