Plymouth CAST Multi‑Academy Trust is seeking an Attendance Officer for Notre Dame Plymouth. The postholder will be a key figure in maintaining and raising our levels of school attendance, and will administrate all aspects of attendance processes in line with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate student attendance records and report on attendance as required.
- Generate reports for the Senior Leadership Team, the Department for Education and other agencies.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues, becoming a trusted advisor and expert professional to drive improvement in attendance.
- Use data confidently and manage attendance processes to support the drive to enable access to education for all our students.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong administration background.
- Experience working in a school administration role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using Google packages.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
Working Conditions
- Permanent, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum (term time plus one week).
Salary and Benefits
- Grade E11–114, £28,142 to £29,540 (£24,934 – £26,173 pro‑ra).
- Plus LGPS Pension Scheme.
