The College is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dynamic individual to provide high-quality football coaching, ensuring students have an excellent experience. The ideal candidate will be positive, responsive, professional, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining a safe and secure environment for teaching and learning.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver safe, enjoyable, ability-specific coaching sessions for the Football Academy that are structured and progressive.
- Deliver football coaching sessions appropriate for the Football Academy programme.
- Liaise with the Sport Coordinator to prepare for college fixtures.
- Maintain Veo camera systems.
- Attend open days and college events to promote sport provision.
- Upload match footage to the Veo platform for student use.
- Organise trials and recruitment for the programme.
- Produce and evaluate session plans for all activities.
- Carry out risk assessments and report incidents or accidents immediately to the Line Manager or Safety Officer.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and properly assembled; report any issues to the Line Manager.
- Adhere to the College\’s Codes of Conduct.
- Keep up-to-date registers for all activities using Cedar.
- Assist in promoting college activities and student recruitment.
- Attend training courses and engage in continuing professional development as required.
- Follow National Governing Body and league AOC sport guidelines.
- Support the strategic aims and objectives of the College.
- Participate in appraisal arrangements as required.
- Perform any other tasks necessary as the programme develops.
- Undertake additional duties as requested by the Principal, consistent with the role.
