The College is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dynamic individual to provide high-quality football coaching, ensuring students have an excellent experience. The ideal candidate will be positive, responsive, professional, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining a safe and secure environment for teaching and learning.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver safe, enjoyable, ability-specific coaching sessions for the Football Academy that are structured and progressive.
  2. Deliver football coaching sessions appropriate for the Football Academy programme.
  3. Liaise with the Sport Coordinator to prepare for college fixtures.
  4. Maintain Veo camera systems.
  5. Attend open days and college events to promote sport provision.
  6. Upload match footage to the Veo platform for student use.
  7. Organise trials and recruitment for the programme.
  8. Produce and evaluate session plans for all activities.
  9. Carry out risk assessments and report incidents or accidents immediately to the Line Manager or Safety Officer.
  10. Ensure all equipment is in good working order and properly assembled; report any issues to the Line Manager.
  11. Adhere to the College\’s Codes of Conduct.
  12. Keep up-to-date registers for all activities using Cedar.
  13. Assist in promoting college activities and student recruitment.
  14. Attend training courses and engage in continuing professional development as required.
  15. Follow National Governing Body and league AOC sport guidelines.
  16. Support the strategic aims and objectives of the College.
  17. Participate in appraisal arrangements as required.
  18. Perform any other tasks necessary as the programme develops.
  19. Undertake additional duties as requested by the Principal, consistent with the role.
