The College is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dynamic individual to provide high-quality football coaching, ensuring students have a valuable experience. The candidate should be positive, responsive, professional, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining a safe environment for teaching and learning.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver safe, enjoyable, ability-specific coaching sessions for the Football Academy that are structured and progressive.
  2. Deliver football coaching sessions appropriate for the Football Academy programme.
  3. Liaise with the Sport Coordinator in preparation for college fixtures.
  4. Maintain Veo camera systems.
  5. Attend open days and college events to promote sport provision.
  6. Upload match footage to the Veo platform for student use.
  7. Organise trials and recruitment for the programme.
  8. Produce and evaluate session plans for all activities.
  9. Carry out risk assessments and report incidents or accidents immediately to the Line Manager or Safety Officer.
  10. Ensure all equipment is in good working order and properly assembled; report any equipment needing attention to the Line Manager.
  11. Adhere to the College\’s Codes of Conduct.
  12. Maintain activity registers using Cedar.
  13. Assist in cross-promoting college activities and student recruitment.
  14. Attend training courses and participate in continuing professional development.
  15. Follow National Governing Body and league AOC sport guidelines.
  16. Support the strategic aims and objectives of the College.
  17. Participate in appraisal arrangements as required.
  18. Perform any other tasks necessary as the programme develops.
  19. Undertake additional duties as requested by the Principal.
