Able & Baker amplía su equipo de Surfacing para un largometraje 3D altamente estilizado ya en producción. Se buscan artistas de todos los niveles apasionados de texturas hand-painted, alejadas del aspecto foto-realista procedural, y con capacidad de colaboración estrecha junto con Modeling, Layout y Lighting para hacer brillar cada plano.
Responsabilidades
- Pintar texturas estilizadas y artesanales para personajes, props y entornos, garantizando consistencia visual y optimización apta para producción.
- Look-dev y shading: creación y ajuste de materiales en el pipeline (mayoritariamente Maya y Houdini) para lograr el acabado artístico deseado.
- Colaboración con Lighting y Modeling para garantizar que las superficies respondan correctamente a la iluminación y cumplan requisitos de cámara y narrativa.
- Mantener estándares del pipeline: organización de escenas, respeto de nomenclatura, gestión de UDIMs y comunicación proactiva con producción.
- Iterar según feedback de la Dirección de Arte, refinando texturas y shaders hasta conseguir el look final.
Requisitos y Habilidades
- Portfolio con texturas estilizadas hand-painted (orgánicas y hard-surface).
- Sólidos conocimientos de Autodesk Maya y experiencia previa en surfacing en Houdini.
- Comprensión de fundamentos de lighting (puntos extra si se ha trabajado en Lighting).
- Manejo de herramientas de texturizado: Substance 3D Painter / Designer, Mari, Photoshop.
- Sólidos fundamentos en UV, UDIM y shading (workflows PBR y estilizados).
- Trabajo en equipo, comunicación clara y actitud resolutiva.
- Se valoran todos los niveles de experiencia: Junior, Mid o Senior (experiencia en cine, TV o videojuegos altamente valorada).
Otros requisitos valorados
- Experiencia texturizando vegetación y fluidez en workflows de scattering/instancing.
- Base artística en pintura tradicional o dibujo estilizado.
- Conocimientos de motores de render (Arnold, Karma, Redshift, etc.) y ShotGrid u otros sistemas de tracking similares.
- Fluidez en español e inglés intermedio (o superior).
Modalidad de trabajo
