Se busca un Motion Editor de cualquier nivel para integrarse al equipo de producción. La función principal consiste en retargetear y editar movimientos corporales procedentes de performances basadas en motion capture de forma no destructiva, centrándose principalmente en humanos, objetos y personajes bípedos, con posibilidad de trabajar en cuadrúpedos cuando sea necesario. El candidato ideal prospera en entornos colaborativos y mantiene estándares de animación de alta calidad. Se ofrecen distintos tipos de contrato con inicio a partir del verano de 2026.
Responsabilidades
- Transferir movimiento entre jerarquías (retargeting) de forma independiente y competente.
- Mejorar sutilmente las matices de una performance sin alterar su intención original, entregando resultados fluidos y de alta calidad.
- Ajustar interacciones y contactos entre personajes, props, entorno y terreno.
- Añadir animación de dedos, dedos de los pies y cola, y realizar ajustes corporales que mejoren postura, gesto y peso.
- Combinar clips de animación para crear transiciones fluidas y creíbles.
- En puestos senior, apoyar y mentorizar a miembros junior, resolver problemas técnicos, enseñar técnicas y elevar la calidad del trabajo.
Requisitos
- Experiencia demostrable en VFX de alto nivel para cine o en la industria de videojuegos y showreel actualizado.
- Experiencia previa con MotionBuilder, Blender, Nuance y/o Maya aplicados a performances capturadas por motion capture.
- Comprensión de técnicas de retargeting y principios de la animación.
- Buen ojo para el movimiento, el timing y la postura.
- Enfoque proactivo para la resolución de problemas y capacidad para detectar, analizar e identificar incidencias técnicas.
- Atención al detalle y habilidades de comunicación, junto con excelentes aptitudes para el trabajo en equipo.
- Actitud de aprendizaje continuo y desarrollo profesional.
- Valorable experiencia con Linux y Vicon Shogun Post.
