Se busca un Director Técnico de Look Development con talento creativo, mentalidad colaborativa y pasión por la cinematografía para producir lookdev y shading de alta calidad para activos CG, trabajando con mínima dirección del Lead o Supervisor.
Responsabilidades
- Diseñar y crear el aspecto visual de objetos y escenas generadas por ordenador.
- Colaborar estrechamente con Lighting Supervisors y CG Supervisors para definir el mejor enfoque para resolver retos de CG durante el desarrollo del aspecto final.
- Crear setups de shader eficientes para optimizar el uso del render farm.
- Gestionar y mantener librerías estándar de materiales usando plantillas de shading establecidas para asegurar consistencia y eficiencia de pipeline.
- Diseñar, implementar y mantener redes de shading complejas y personalizadas para activos prioritarios (“hero”) cuando se requieren soluciones a medida.
Requisitos
- Experiencia previa en la creación de hero assets y props en Look Development.
- Experiencia demostrable en Lighting y Rendering dentro de un entorno VFX.
- Conocimiento probado de materiales del mundo real y optimización de assets.
- Dominio de conceptos de physically based rendering y modelos de shader.
- Capacidad para trabajar y comunicarse con artistas de Texture y Groom para obtener los mejores resultados.
- Sólidos conocimientos de formato de geometría, incluyendo pero no limitado a Primvars.
- Capacidad para construir y mantener redes de shading complejas con usabilidad para artistas y soporte de interfaz.
- Conocimiento de Katana es esencial; Houdini y Maya son beneficiosos.
- Comprensión sólida de las funciones de departamentos vecinos: FX, Texture, Groom y Lighting.
