Función Básica

Con la dirección del director creativo, supervisores de proyecto y jefe de departamento, el candidato creará texturas digitales precisas a partir de material de referencia y/o concepto artístico suministrado, coordinándose diariamente con el supervisor de CG para recibir indicaciones y feedback.

El Rol

  • Crear texturas fotorrealistas para assets digitales usando material fotográfico y arte conceptual proporcionado.
  • Colaborar estrechamente con el equipo de modelado para asegurar una adecuada posición y escala de UVs.
  • Trabajar con el Lead Generalist para garantizar la mejor calidad desde la textura hasta el renderizado.
  • Resolver problemas de representación de materiales variados, orgánicos y mecánicos, logrando la mejor solución para cada toma.
  • Mantener altos estándares de trabajo cumpliendo con los plazos y programación establecida.
  • Colaborar con el equipo de look development para solventar problemas técnicos y optimizar assets para render.
  • Comunicar eficazmente con dirección creativa, coordinadores y líderes, informando sobre progreso, problemas técnicos y recomendaciones.
  • Coordinarse con el equipo de modelado para optimizar UVs.
  • Relacionarse diariamente con supervisores y productores sobre avances y calendario.
  • Mantenerse familiarizado con herramientas clave como Mari, Substance y Unreal.
  • Liderar la implementación de mejores prácticas estándar en pipeline para texture artists basadas en experiencia profesional.

Requisitos

  • Habilidades creativas sólidas y profundo entendimiento de técnicas para generar texturas combinando fotografías y pintura digital.
  • Amplio conocimiento del proceso de texturizado, capaz de interpretar diseños y manipular materiales fotográficos.
  • Experiencia previa en texturizado de superficies orgánicas y duras fotorrealistas.
  • Dominio avanzado de Photoshop, Substance, Mari; conocimiento en Maya, UVs y Zbrush/Mudbox.
  • Experiencia en Unreal.
  • Conocimientos en look development, especialmente shading.
  • Fuerte entendimiento del espacio de color relacionado con texturas.
  • Conocimiento exhaustivo del sector de efectos visuales (VFX).
