Se busca un Lead Motion Editor para incorporarse al equipo del estudio. La persona seleccionada actuará como el referente técnico del área de motion capture, encargándose del flujo de trabajo de edición de movimiento, la ejecución de retargeting no destructivo y el refinamiento de datos para obtener animaciones realistas. Será responsable de asegurar que las animaciones finales cumplan con estándares de calidad cinematográficos y de mentorizar a miembros junior del equipo.
Responsabilidades
- Transferir movimientos entre jerarquías de manera eficiente (Retargeting).
- Preservar y mejorar la actuación de los actores aplicando ajustes no destructivos al material original.
- Añadir animación de dedos, pies y cola, y ajustar postura, gestos y sensación de peso para mejorar la interpretación.
- Crear transiciones fluidas y creíbles entre clips mediante técnicas de Blending.
- Proporcionar mentoría técnica proactiva a integrantes junior, resolviendo incidencias y fomentando su desarrollo.
- Desarrollar y refactorizar metodologías y workflows, así como solucionar problemas técnicos del pipeline.
- Dirigir técnicamente al equipo en proyectos y atender solicitudes técnicas.
- Gestionar las sesiones de revisión diarias («dailies») cuando el supervisor no esté disponible.
Requisitos
- Experiencia demostrable en VFX de alto nivel para cine, con showreel actualizado.
- Atención al detalle, buenas habilidades de comunicación y capacidad de trabajo en equipo.
- Conocimiento y práctica en técnicas de Retargeting y Blending.
- Experiencia previa con Maya, MotionBuilder, Blender y/o Nuance aplicados a actuaciones capturadas por mocap.
- Comprensión sólida de los principios de la animación y ojo crítico para el movimiento, el timing y la postura.
- Actitud proactiva para resolución de problemas y detección de fallos técnicos.
- Conocimientos de Linux y de Vicon Shogun Post serán un plus.
Como parte de la candidatura, es imprescindible presentar un demo reel, un shot breakdown o material equivalente que muestre el trabajo, además de un currículum actualizado.
Condiciones y desarrollo
- Posición con enfoque híbrido: se requiere trabajar un mínimo de dos días in situ por semana y, ocasionalmente, desde casa.
