One of Us busca un modellador de Creature / Character con experiencia en la creación de criaturas y personajes fotorrealistas, tanto fantásticos como reales, para proyectos de VFX. El puesto es híbrido, con localizaciones en London, Inglaterra y Paris, Île-de-France. Es un contrato con condiciones por especificar.

Descripción: One of Us busca un Creature / Character modeller que tenga experiencia creando criaturas y personajes fotorealistas, tanto fantásticos como reales, para proyectos de VFX. Además de un buen conocimiento técnico de los flujos de trabajo para personajes y criaturas en VFX, el candidato debe tener un gran ojo para los detalles, ser capaz de replicar datos de grabación en set y traducir material de referencia en criaturas fantásticas fotorrealistas. Se requiere conocimiento sólido para colaborar con departamentos posteriores como rigging, CFX y animación, junto con conocimientos anatómicos tanto de humanos como de criaturas. La experiencia en modelado facial utilizando FACS, tanto de humanos como de animales, también formará parte del rol. Es imprescindible contar con un portafolio que muestre estas cualidades para ser considerado para esta posición.

Requisitos

  • Crear modelos con buena y limpia topología y UVs.
  • Finalizar shots utilizando shotsculpting.
  • Construir y presentar diagnósticos anatómicos de criaturas.
  • Esculpir mapas de desplazamiento para personajes y criaturas.
  • Modelar ropa que coincida con conjuntos de datos de fotogrametría para dobles digitales.
  • Crear formas faciales basadas en FACS que funcionen dentro del pipeline facial de One Of Us.
  • Contribuir a las discusiones sobre workflows y pipelines para personajes y criaturas, así como ayudar en la documentación de estos procesos.

Se busca experiencia previa en un rol similar, manejo de software como Maya, Zbrush, Wrap 3d (configuraciones de optical flow y procesamiento de datos FACS), experiencia en shotsculpting con Mush 3d y Houdini, y experiencia en modelado de LODs y mallas técnicas para simulación de criaturas. También es importante tener comprensión de las necesidades de rigging, animación y CFX, buenas habilidades para resolver problemas y ser un miembro orientado al equipo con buenas capacidades de comunicación.
