Framestore busca un Realtime Environment Artist para su división de Preproducción en Londres. Esta posición es especulativa y, en caso de contratación, será híbrida con trabajo presencial en el estudio de Londres y desplazamientos a estudios de cine en el noroeste de Londres. Los Realtime Environment Artists en esta división fusionan visión artística con experiencia técnica, colaborando con desarrolladores, artistas de visualización y equipos de VFX para construir entornos en tiempo real de alta calidad y rendimiento para películas y producciones episódicas. El artista trabajará con supervisores de visualización y VFX para crear entornos impresionantes y eficientes en Unreal Engine. Se enfocará en arte de nivel, decoración de sets, texturizado y optimización, asegurando que los assets cumplan con requisitos estéticos y técnicos. Colaborará con constructores de assets para integrar personajes y props de forma fluida, contribuyendo al aspecto general y respetando las mejores prácticas de construcción y rendimiento. Responsabilidades:

  • Crear assets 3D de alta calidad, modelando formas high poly, hard surface y orgánicas en Unreal Engine y DCCs externos como Maya o Houdini, además de crear texturas y shaders.
  • Trabajar con assets de lookdev en Unreal Engine para crear assets fotorrealistas optimizados para flujos de trabajo de producción virtual y VR, enfocándose en workflows PBR, iluminación realista y optimización de rendimiento.
  • Crear entornos fotorrealistas de alta calidad con kits personalizados y contenido de marketplace para diseño de niveles.
  • Crear rigs de iluminación de alta calidad para contenido realista y cinematográfico.
  • Colaborar con el equipo de Producción Virtual para evaluar, optimizar y mejorar el rendimiento en escenas Unreal y perfilar hardware (GPU, CPU, red).
  • Crear y mantener documentación clara y completa de flujos de trabajo, procesos y herramientas.

  • Experiencia práctica en look development, iluminación y rendering.
  • Comprensión completa de Unreal Engine.
