Se busca a un Senior Game Designer para integrarse en un equipo multidisciplinar y contribuir al desarrollo de experiencias de juego centradas en la simulación y la narración interactiva. El puesto es de contribución individual y reporta a un Development Director. El/la candidato/a trabajará en prototipos, diseño de sistemas y en la implementación y ajuste de mecánicas dirigidas a distintos estilos de juego.

Responsabilidades

  • Crear prototipos y diseños para contenido de gameplay, mecánicas y sistemas.
  • Redactar documentación clara y detallada que comunique funcionalidad, lógica, tuning y resultados para el jugador.
  • Implementar y ajustar objetos interactivos, mecánicas y sistemas, incluyendo mecánicas que soporten simulación y gameplay orientado a la narrativa.
  • Colaborar con design, art, engineering y QA para asegurar alineación y viabilidad técnica.
  • Colaborar con producers y project managers para dimensionar features y seguir el avance de tareas.
  • Aplicar procesos de diseño centrados en el jugador y basados en datos, usando insights cuantitativos y cualitativos.
  • Resolver problemas en el engine, asumiendo responsabilidad sobre la calidad y la experiencia del jugador.
  • Mentorizar a diseñadores junior, aportando feedback y orientación basada en la experiencia.

Requisitos

  • Tener 5+ años de experiencia profesional y al menos un título publicado en AAA.
  • Experiencia en juegos de builders, simulation, sandbox o life-sim.
  • Experiencia en contenido de expansión o desarrollo live service.
  • Experiencia con lógica, scripting e implementación en engine, especialmente con herramientas propietarias y motores como Unreal, así como con formatos/flujo de trabajo como XML y Blueprints.
  • Dominio de control de versiones (por ejemplo Perforce, Git), seguimiento de tareas (por ejemplo Jira) y herramientas de visualización de datos (por ejemplo Looker o Tableau).
  • Experiencia en narrativas impulsadas por el jugador y en sistemas que soporten múltiples estilos de juego.
  • Comodidad diseñando contenido alrededor de temas como identidad, relaciones y dinámicas sociales.
  • Valorable experiencia trabajando en entornos Agile.
