Your new company
Seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join a UK leading infrastructure company based in Witney. Offering 3 days working from home. In this role, you will support the Accounts Payable Manager and take ownership of maintaining accurate financial records. Managing the full purchase ledger process alongside a small team. Ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time while handling supplier queries quickly and professionally. It is a key opportunity for someone who enjoys a work-life balance and keeping operations running smoothly.
Your new role
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve payment and invoice queries.
- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Produce BACS payment runs and manage urgent CHAPS payments.
- Manage unallocated cash, company credit cards, and staff expense payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements, including use of AI tools.
- Carry out account analysis to support accurate financial reporting.
- Support the finance team with a range of ad-hoc tasks as required.
What you will need to succeed
- Prior experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Assistant role.
- CIS experience is desirable, but not essential (Training can be provided).
- A motivated, enthusiastic team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Resilient and determined, with the ability to go the extra mile when needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ambition to grow and take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves.
